Your Shop is built from three main elements:
- Sections: The tabs across the top of your Shop that help visitors navigate your content.
- Collections: Curated groups of products that live within a Section.
- Links: Individual product links you create and share. Most are commissionable, meaning you can earn when someone shops through them.
How to Create a Section
Sections are the main tabs across the top of your Shop. Use them to organize your content into broader categories like Beauty, Closet, or Home.
- Click the + at the end of your Section tabs.
- Choose Custom Section to create your own, or select a Suggested Section.
- Give your Section a title. This will appear as the tab name on your Shop.
- Save your Section and start adding Collections.
Note: Some Suggested Sections populate automatically. These can be hidden, but not deleted.
How to Create a Collection
Collections are curated groups of products that live within a Section. Use them to organize related products around a specific theme or category.
- Open the Section where you’d like your Collection to live.
- Click Add Collection.
- Your new Collection will open automatically. Click Name your collection to give it a title.
- Start adding products.
How to Add Products to a Collection
Once you’ve created a Collection, you can add products from the Catalog, paste a retailer URL, or reuse products you’ve already linked.
- Open your Collection and click + Product.
- Choose how you’d like to add your product:
- Search our catalog: Search by product name, then narrow your results using Category, Brand, or Website filters.
- Paste a product URL: Paste a retailer URL directly into the search box. ShopMy will pull in the product details when available. If the image or title doesn’t load, you can add them manually.
- My Most Used / My Recents: Once you’ve created 25+ links, use these shortcuts to quickly find products you’ve already linked.
- Edit the title, choose a variant, add a description, or upload your own image if needed.
- Click Add Product.

Good to know: Adding the same product to multiple Collections creates a separate link for each Collection.
How to Create a Link Without a Collection
Not every link needs to live in a Collection. You can create a standalone link when you want something ready to share.
- Navigate to the Links tab at the top of the page.
- Click + New Link.
- Find or add the product you’d like to link.
- Create your link and copy it when you’re ready to share.
You can also use the Links tab to find, copy, or edit links you’ve already created.
How to Change the Retailer on a Link
If the same product is available from another retailer with a better commission rate, you can switch retailers without recreating your link.
- Find the link you’d like to update and hover over it.
- Click Edit.
- In the top left, you’ll see the current retailer and its commission rate.
- If a higher rate is available, click Found “X” better rate(s) to compare your options.
- Select the retailer you’d like to use. Your link will update automatically.
