Yes! ShopMy supports full-cart commission, which means a shopper doesn't necessarily need to purchase the exact item you linked for you to earn.
When someone clicks your ShopMy link and goes on to make an eligible purchase with that retailer, commission can be earned on the commissionable items in their full order - not just the specific product that originally brought them to the retailer's site.
How Does Full-Cart Commission Work?
Let's say you share a link to a $50 pair of shoes. A shopper clicks your link, but once they're on the retailer's website, they decide not to purchase those shoes.
Instead, they purchase a $100 dress and a $30 accessory.
As long as the purchase remains attributed to your link and those items are eligible for commission, you can still earn commission on that purchase, even though the shopper never bought the original pair of shoes you shared.
The same applies if they purchase the shoes and add other commissionable items to their cart. Your commission isn't limited to the product you originally linked.
Keep in mind: Some retailers exclude certain products, brands, or categories from earning commission. Full-cart commission applies to the eligible, commissionable portion of the order.
How Can I see the Total Order Volume?
If you want to see how much total order volume your links are driving, we recommend viewing your ShopMy account on desktop.
You can find order volume in either of these places:
- Go to your Links tab and select All Orders
- Go to your Earnings tab to view your orders and earnings details
Here, you'll be able to see the order volume associated with an order alongside the commission you earned.
What Can I see in the ShopMy App?
Currently, the ShopMy app displays the commission you earned from an order, but does not display the order's full order volume.
If you'd like to compare your commission earned with the total order volume that was driven, log into your ShopMy account on desktop for the complete order details.
Remember: The product you linked and the products a shopper ultimately purchases don't have to be the same. Your link helps attribute the shopper's eligible order back to you, which means your earnings can extend beyond the individual product you originally shared.
