You may notice commission earnings appearing, then disappearing, due to the brand reversing an order.
Brands and retailers may reverse orders at their discretion. This can happen for a number of reasons, which can include:
- Payment Issues: Failed payment authorization.
- Order Adjustments: Orders that are returned, cancelled, exchanged, or deemed duplicates.
- Fraud Detection: Sales identified or flagged as being fraudulent.
- Attribution to another channel: The brand may choose to credit another marketing channel, such as email, instead of affiliate.
